Board games can be anything you want: relaxing, engaging, hilarious or brain burning. Board gaming lets you unplug from technology and engage with others, often making new friends while enjoying social interactions.

You can join us for Game Days every Sunday afternoon from noon to 6pm and for Game Nights the second Saturday of Every Month from 6 pm to 11 pm.

You can play board games in-person at Here Be Books & Games on Sunday Afternoons and the Second Saturday Night of every month. Sign up now online or in the store. Space is limited.

Game Night Admission is $5 and includes:

• At check-in you can purchase one drink and one snack for an additional $2.50. If you buy them later in the evening, they're $1.50 each.

We maintain an extensive Demo Game Library at Here Be Books & Games because we LOVE to PLAY GAMES! Of course, our library also provides a great resource for in-store gaming - and game rentals.

Before the pandemic, we hosted weekly in-store gaming Wednesday  and Saturday afternoons and a 10-hour gaming event - Game Night - the first Saturday of every month. Now the rise and fall of infection rates dictates when we can offer in-store gaming.

The best way to stay informed, so you can join us for in-store gaming, is to follow us on Facebook and/or Meetup and subscribe to our text messages.

Virtual Gaming has been discontinued until further notice

When the pandemic started, we wanted to find a way to keep gaming together safely. We tried a variety of methods, but Discord and Board Game Arena proved the best combination for us. We could even teach you how to play!

If infection rates rise again, we'll resume offering virtual gaming. Hopefully, that won't happen.

How to Join Us for Virtual Gaming

To join us for virtual gaming, you'll need to join our Discord server: URL: https://discord.gg/nDhv9EJ

Then sign up for a free account on Board Game Arena. If you like to play more thinky games, you can also sign up for free accounts on Yucata and Boiteajeux.

On virtual game day, just login to our Discord server, join our Looking for Game voice channel and say “Hey.” We’ll help you from there.

There’s no charge to join us for Virtual Gaming. We’d of course appreciate it if you bought games from us, though. Our online store is open 24/7 and our brick-and-mortar store hours are: Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat, & Sun 11am to 6pm.
